Once established the piece price remains very stable. Keiding rarely requests a price increase. In fact in select cases where efficiencies have been realized beyond expectation, piece prices have actually been reduced.

Can Keiding design a concept from a 3D file, or is a part required?

From start to finish it would be ideal to have both a file and the part to be packaged, however the design process can be initiated using only a 3D file. A part is recommended prior to tooling to ensure fit and accuracy.

Is molded pulp capable of supporting and protecting heavy products?

What is the life expectancy of a production tool?

The life expectancy of a production tool is indefinite. Keiding assumes full responsibility for tool maintenance and/or replacement.

What color is the molded pulp?

The most popular and preferred choice for packaging is natural, a pulp of brownish-grayish color which is derived from the selection of raw materials, corrugated and newsprint. We also provide packaging in white and have the ability to dye the pulp, although the costs of doing so are often cost-prohibitive.
